From West to East.
Starting westbound Hope is the main highway junction, followed by the Similkameen Valley, including Manning Park, Coalmont, Tulameen, Princeton, Hedley, Olalla, Keremeos, Cawston, and Cathedral Lakes.
The Town of Osoyoos is the largest resort community along the route at the junction of Highway 3 and Highway 97.
Boundary County includes Beaverdell, Big White, Westbridge, Bridesville, Rock Creek, Midway, Greenwood, Grand Forks, and Christina Lake.
